Ansjowvis Ansjowvis

Ansjowvis is known for her genre-fluid style. The Dutch/Colombian DJ, born and based in Rotterdam, first made her mark with ghetto house sets and was one of the few who brought this sound back to the forefront in her city. Today, her sets move through underground currents of breaks, electro, trippy techno, ghetto house, and, as an ode to her heritage, latin core. Her performance at OBERHAUM was a masterclass in rhythm, driven by percussion, hard kicks, hypnotic basslines, and infectious grooves. The mix flowed between breaks, bass, dub, and jungle, building from dreamy textures into in-your-face basslines and high-tempo pulses. Sometimes subtle, sometimes not, but always charged with raw energy.
