Locus Error is a Dutch techno DJ and producer from Nijmegen, known for her high-energy and layered sound where precision meets raw intensity. With a background in classical music, having started out on the cello, she developed a strong sense of composition and dynamics early on, elements that are still clearly reflected in her sets today. Her style moves between groovy, uplifting techno and powerful, bouncy basslines, always driven by a strong sense of flow and emotional depth. Locus Error crafts immersive journeys on the dancefloor, balancing tension and release with a refined, intuitive touch. In a relatively short time, she has firmly established herself within both the Dutch and international techno scene, performing at leading clubs and festivals such as Awakenings, Loveland Festival, 909 Festival, Sisyphos, and Intercell. Beyond DJing, she is the co-founder of the platform and label BALANS, alongside Darko Esser, and plays an active role in shaping nightlife culture. As a board member of the Stichting Nachtburgemeester Nijmegen, she contributes to the development and representation of the city’s nightlife.
