Mattie finds comfort in the raw and underground sound of ‘80s and ‘90s Chicago, Detroit and New York. Back then, genres were fluid, and sound was a medium to discover through. Mattie reflects this in his sets by blending the likes of Deep House, Acid House, Elektro and much more. By honouring and cherishing the soul and power of these forgotten records, Mattie hopes to inspire others to dig deep inside and discover what is lost, or is yet to be found.
